Brazilian Grooves at Open Sounds
Wednesday, 8/19 I’ll be trying something novel with some old and new friends- an evening of groovy Brazilian jazz. Join us at Open Source Gallery, 306 17th St, Brooklyn for an outdoor sunset concert featuring master Brazilian musicians guitarist Guilherme Monteiro and drummer Alex Kautz, along with groovemaster bassist Adam Chilenski and me on keyboards. We’ll play original music and some Brazilian classics by composers like Djavan, Caetano Veloso, Joao Donato, Jobim and more.
