    The PS 130 PTA Music Committee is proud to present the Fifth Annual PS 130 Music Festival, a community celebration featuring parent musicians from PS 130. With musical styles ranging from Appalachian to Latin, traditional Hebrew song to Russian folk, rock and R&B to jazz, classical and musical theater, the PS 130 Music Festival will be a musical celebration of our diverse neighborhood and school community.

    Kristen Strom and guitarist Scott Sorkin’s stunning arrangements showcase the music of the late bassist John Shifflet, who was a great friend and contributor to SJW, and to jazz music in the Bay Area and beyond.  I played many times with John; I miss him dearly, and I”m honored to celebrate his musical legacy with these amazing musicians.
